I’m not much of a chef but I would highly recommend making these delicious burgers. Had them last night and it was something else!!
Beer Burgers – (Nancy’s Recipes)
1 1/2 lbs ground beef (I use 80% for burgers for the best taste)
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 cup beer – (Amstel Light!)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cloves of garlic, minced
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients and shape into 6 patties ~ don’t overmix the meat and remember to make an indentation in the top if the burger to eliminate that burger bump. Grill burgers until they are done to your preference. Toast your burger buns on the grill if desired.
Makes 6 burgers.
Added pepper jack cheese and spinach, and we also made sweet potato fries. Ah I’m hungry again!

Exactly one year ago, a raging wildfire burst through various parts of Southern California. My neighborhood was insanely lucky to not obtain any damage yet a few miles away, homes were lost and destroyed. Here are some images that looking back, reminds me how life can change so quickly.
