Golden State pt II

The wedding was pretty awesome! Thanks to Ro, Nidhi and family for the great times! We got some sick shots and cant wait to post the gallery! We ended up getting back to the apt around 1 AM and hit the streets in search for food. Took the old Nikon D70s, it still handles like a charm.

MOCA

Went to the Museum of Contemporary Art this past weekend to see an exhibit by photographer Robert Frank.  He was most noted for his portraits of people and places during the post war era in the mid 1950′s. Each picture he took explained the extremes of peoples temperament during this time. Pretty somber and lonely images throughout, yet every frame had a few very dynamic elements that made it very special. Most of the other galleries were closed off due to construction, but we still managed to get a nice tour of the permanent collection.

I met up with my cousin Vic, his gf Angie and my friend Jill. Nice LA cloud cover all day too.

Met with Jeff Tang of 12V yesterday for dinner and a quick creative sess. Its always nice to meet him up,  gives us a chance to channel artistic processes and ideas together and really get to the core of our work. He’s been designing an artist series tshirt for us and we’re pretty much in the last phases.

Day 2 brought us to the brisk and wonderful hills of Westlake / Thousand Oaks area. Thanks to Mr Hogan, and the staff over at Rancho St. Francis for the warm hospitality! And thanks to the wonderful Arabian horses, T got some money shots for the magazine inserts. We’re both pretty stoked to publish this new piece.
